Dave is an abstract artist. He paints to find a better understanding of himself and his relationships. The events of his past have a huge influence on his work. Dave is inspired by feelings, the people and places he has known, and how those things manifest in the present day. He considers his work a visual journal.

Dave loves to work on large canvases and use the motion of his body when making marks and creating compositions.
