Dave is an abstract artist. He paints to find a better understanding of himself and his relationships. The events of his past have a huge influence on his work. Rather than tangible objects, Dave is inspired by internal feelings, the people and places he has known, and how those things manifest in the present day. He considers his work a visual journal.

Dave loves to work on large canvases and use the motion of his body when making marks and creating compositions.
